She is the author of four poetry chapbooks, including Fairytales (Bottle Cap Press, 2023) and a forthcoming collection, and a historical novel, Sky of Ashes, Land of Dreams (Type Eighteen Books, 2023).

Contributor’s Notes
This poem was inspired by a series of Executive Orders issued in 2025 alone- orders which impact the lives of the LGBTQ+ community. It is a poem about the use of power to stifle voices- but also a message of resilience and the power of collective voices.
